Electrical

Cussens Electrical Services Ltd undertakes numerous electrical works, both domestically and commercially, throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties.

Some of the electrical works we have carried out include lighting installations both domestically and commercially, fuse board replacements and upgrades in residential properties and commercial buildings as well as total rewires and specialist electrical works for bespoke clients. Below is a list of the services we provide, although we may be able to offer more on your request:

Fire Alarms

We also carry out fire alarm installations; we install domestic fire alarms, ionising alarms (which are sensitive to flaming fires and sound before the smoke gets too thick), optical alarms (which are more effective at detecting slow burning fires), and commercial fire alarms (we install a full system which is wired back to a main fire panel). We are able to offer both battery powered and mains powered fire alarms.

As well as fire alarm installations we can also install emergency lighting systems in commercial buildings; we currently undertake these works for major retailers.

We recommend that smoke detectors should be checked weekly by pressing the test button.

Plumbing

At Cussens Electrical we are able to offer plumbing and gas work, by Gas Safe engineers.

Work can include:

Plastering

Cussens Electrical has well experienced and talented plasterers that meet the overall standards that we commit to across all of our services. We are able to offer internal and external work on different surfaces, such as rendering.

Decorating

Internal and external services, with no job too small, and the ability to take the decorating process from start to finish.

General Building Services

We are able to offer General Building Services which are tailored to long term contracts that will include all maintenance and refurbishment.

Maintenance
An example is a current local church hall; works include painting and decorating, minor repairs and alterations, gas and boiler maintenance, window repairs and alterations, cleaning, re-varnishing of the hall floor and electrical testing.

Refurbishment
We have previously undertaken various refurbishments, such as properties in the lettings market. Properties are completed within a quick turnaround and suitably decorated in neutral colours. Works involved, painting and decorating, repairs and redecoration, electrical rewires and fuse board upgrade, fire alarm installation, demolition works, external rendering, re-plastering, window repairs and replacements, boiler repairs and installation, gas safety checks, cleaning, gardening and joinery.
